Whats an effective way to select a sample of employees at a small manufacturing business?
Alphabetical is always a good way. Take them from the top of the list, or every third, or anything. Their answers on the questionaire would have nothing to do with their name, so it should work.
Reply:Assuming you want a random sample, you could either:


a) offer it to only those people whose last names begin with a certain letter.


or


b) use a random number generator to select from their employee numbers.
