Guidance on using the HAD scale, how can having a good appetite be an indicator for depression?

I don't have any guidance notes for using the Hospital anxiety and depression scale questionnaire but have seen one being used. I don't understand why would "having a good appetite" was scored as an indicator for depression. Surely a good appetite is normal, and either eating more or less than usual would be indicators for anxiety and depression?

well i been both sides,

i been really depressed and no desire to eat and didn't some days.

but also there times when you go out of your head and there's nothing to do in your control so eating is one of them.
