What is considered to be a painful period?

I have to fill out this questionnaire thing for my gyno for when she comes back into town and it is asking about painful periods. How do I distinguish between regular painful cramps from super painful cramps? I mean, doesn't every woman get those really bad cramps where she can't walk from time to time?

What is considered to be a painful period?
Everyone has a different threshold of pain. Your strong pain maybe someone else's light pain or visa versa. Just base the answer on what you feel. If you get "really bad cramps where you can't walk", I think you have your personal answer. I hope this helps :)
Reply:Actually, periods are not supposed to be painful. So, if you have pain, then they're painful. Take it from one who knows and has experience with this. =)
Reply:regular.....jus bleeding, bloated...consitpation

pain:....bleeding, sharp cramps,headache, moody!!!!!
Reply:Honestly I would go on your own opinion. Because your painful may not be someone elses and vice versa. If you consider it painful...even the slightest bit, then yes, i would say that you have painful periods.
