How does one know if they are suitable for a certain job?

Are there any tests or questionnaires that can help a person really understand his/her own abilities, strengths and weaknesses?

What else can one do to answer this question?

How does one know if they are suitable for a certain job?
Your education and your previous job experiences will definetely help for a certain job. I don't think u'll need a test or a questionnaire for your strenght and/or your weaknesses
Reply:I agree with the internship idea, most of my friends that have taken similar tests had no interest at all to go in what they were best for.
Reply:Call up (or email) a company that holds a position you want and ask them. Also, many companies that post job availability will post required qualifications. After reading a couple of them, you should get an idea of companies are looking for.

If you are in college or highschool, talk to your school counciler. Colleges and highschools are set up to guide the students down that path.

Remember, if asked nicely, people are willing to give information for free!

Just wondering, what job are you looking for?
Reply:Arrange to have a vocational guidance test.
Reply:No one is stupid! Everything only needs simple knowledge and a lot of common Sence! You dont need any questionaire!!! Just work hard and Use your common Sence!
Reply:Yes there are career guidance tests, however it is going to be based on exactly how you answer these questions. The best thing I have found was to take charge and get say an internship...even if unpaid to see if the job is suitable to your tastes.
