Online questionnaires?

im planning on using online questionnaires as my research method for my dissertation and was wondering where i can design these questionnaires, get them answered (i need 100 answers) for free

thanks

Online questionnaires?
Microsoft's Sharepoint software is really neat for creating questionaires for on-line or e-mailing. As the others said, you need to exercise some control over your respondents. If you throw it out there for anyone, ask the wrong questions to the wrong group, etc., it will appear that you do not know grasp the concept of scientific research (which is the whole point!).
Reply:Getting your questionnaires answered for free would be a neat trick. You cannot simply put them on a website and hope for the best as this would be very unscientific. You should talk this over with your adviser - you need to do a scientific sampling.

Here is a questionnaire design tutorial:

Reply:Try posting a question on here asking people to participate and sending the questionnaire via email to those who accept? As For designing the questionnaire, try it yourself with Paint/Microsoft Word etc! If you want it proffesional (it wont be free) type in questionnaire designing on a search engine site such as Google!
Reply:Bebo is the only place i can think of
Reply:Hi Needy, I'm not sure, but that's a good ideal.

Reply:Shouldn't you design them yourself? IF not a requirement then google marketing research fims in yur area and they will do it but NOT for free!

As for answers, locate Yahoo Groups that fit your area of study and post the questionnaires there. I have seen many of these already on the homeschool boards.
Reply:How do you expect to keep this sample scientifically valid? This would be the first question out of the dissertation committee's mouth.

I'd simply use M$ FrontPage (yeah, web designers, I know it's icky) to design a simple survey form that dumps to a txt file. You then have that hosted on a university web server.

I still wonder how you're gonna keep the data's integrity here....
